2 ups for me!
You will be seduced by this charming studio situated in one of the most picturesque quarters of Paris. It's ideal for lovers. The studio was completely renovated in 2009. It comes complete with a well-equipped kitchen, a TV and internet access. The sunny studio with exposed beams is overlooks the courtyard in a beautiful, quiet building. You have the advantage of being in a peaceful environment while having access to one of the liveliest quarters of Paris.
The area known as the Grand Boulevards made its reputation in the 19th century as the centre of theatre, shopping districts and charming covered passageways filled with boutiques and antique stores. The Grévin Museum (the Madame Thussaud of Paris), the Opera and the large shopping complexes on the boulevard Haussmann are all within walking distance.
You're just 15 minutes by foot from the Louvre Museum and the Seine. If you walk north, you'll quickly arrive at the famous Montmartre quarter of Paris. If you enjoy Parisian bistros, bakeries, restaurants and boutiques, you'll be overwhelmed by the choices.
It would be difficult to find a better area to discover the French capital. You'll spend an unforgettable vacation in the most romantic city in the world.
2 ups for me!
Simple and clean, comfortable and flexible towards our stay
Perfect. That's really what I'd have to call this little apartment. It's not huge, maybe 6 or 7 meters square, but it has everything you could want or need for a short stay in Paris. A double bed that is very comfortable, a kitchenette with sink/2 burner electric stove/microwave/kettle. The bathroom is compact with a shower/basin/wc, if you're tall or larger than most you may have difficulties with the shower as it is a little squishy (I'm 6' and felt a little crowded as my head felt like it almost touched the top, it didn't, but not a lot of room to spare). There's a two person table, with stools, opposite the bed where you can look out the window across the rooftops of rue du Faubourg. The five flights of stairs are a killer though, especially with bags, so take your time carrying them up. Be realistic though if you're staying in Paris for a weekend, don't discount this gem if you're worried about having room. How much time will you be spending here when Paris is literally at your doorstep? We walked into the heart of Paris in under 20 minutes (taking our time and doing some window shopping), Rive Seine, the Louvre, Notre Dame, all the sights you want to see are within an easy walk (no up or down hills). There are at least two Boulangeries nearby, a supermarche on LaFayette, the apartment is right next door to one of Paris' oldest chocolate stores. It's also an easy walk to either Gare du Nord (right onto LaFayette, keep walking until you reach rue du Faubourg, turn left and walk until you see A la mere de Familie, the chocolate shop) walk and Saint Lazare (turn left onto rue de Provence and keep walking until you reach rue du Harve, turn right and the station is in front of you). The host is very helpful, easily contacted, and the payment system easy to use. We enjoyed staying here very much and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Très beau petit studio, très calme et bien aménagé. Parfait pour rayonner dans tout Paris à 2 en amoureux. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et donne tous les renseignements nécessaires, tant pour le studio que des conseils pour visiter Paris.
The House was perfect and totally inclined to our needs. A bit awkward the four flights of stairs in wood ... For the rest I and my fiance we met Lorenzo! Congratulations ROOMORAMA
