I loved this studio! Would come back to rent it again when I go back to Paris. 1. Location: 7th arrondisement -- Zone 1 in Paris! The apartment is on the same street as the Eiffel Tower. It is literally so close you can't see all of it at any one time. It's visible from inside the apartment, too -- from the window and the skylight. Fabulous address. 2. Furniture: It has a double bed with a pull out (and super soft pillows and blankets); several cabinets, a flat screen TV, wi-fi router, a dresser, a bath tub (in the room), its own toilet (in an enclosed closet-line space), kitchen counter with a stove, microwave and Nespresso machine, washing machine, hairdryer, counter for eating and a folding table and chairs. It's not too cluttered with things that accumulate dust -- great news for allergy sufferers. All these are in a relatively roomy studio -- we were three adults with one large suitcase each but fit better in this studio than we did at our London hotel room. 3. Household Items: Several towels were provided as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish washing soap, insecticide and garbage bags. 4. Access: Excellent access to transportation -- it's near a stop of Bus 42 (that connects to Gare du Nord in 30 minutes) and close enough to the RER and Metro lines. Thirty seconds to the bus stop, four minutes to the RER station. 5. Food: There are quite an number of restaurants to eat and grocery/tabac type shops for buying some basic necessities up to 11 PM or so. 6. Great host: Delphine always replied to our questions and was extremely helpful before and during our trip. It was like having a friend in Paris. One thing you should know so you can manage expectations about the apartment: it's part of an inner apartment in a glitzy Paris street. Basically, there are two front doors -- one leads to a glossy looking foyer. That's the main apartment. The other door (which is the door for the studio) is connected to a courtyard by an old tiled hallway. The courtyard provides access to the inner apartment building. (If you can imagine the top of the building looking like a doughnut, the posh parts that people see are on the circumference of the doughnut -- the studio is actually at the hole-side of the doughnut, which is not as glamorous.) A small elevator (enough for one person and a suitcase or two people with no room left for the Holy Spirit) brings you up to the 6th floor. The studio is on the 7th floor so there is some hauling of luggage up some curved stairs. It's dark when you walk up so turn on the lights. If you are not fussed about these things, you will definitely adore this charming studio near the Eiffel Tower.
