Welcome to our laid-back, "smoke friendly" house, where you will find a vaporiser in almost every room. It is Amsterdam after all and you'll find us in the heart of it.
We live on the lovely Keizersgracht canal and you will find us on the corner with Utrechtsestraat, just two blocks south of Rembrandtplein. So you'll find plenty of local bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops just around the corner.
The #4 Tram stops just outside our front door, but there is no need to buy a Tram pass as we are within walking distance to pretty much everything you are coming to see. We also have some bicycles that we are more than happy to let you use free of charge. Just let us know when you arrive. It's a fun and safe way to explore the city.
Our house is the whole 5 floor canal-side building. It's an old building that's been decorated in an eclectic and quirky style. We have divided up our house into a few single and double rooms, both with and without en-suites and a few larger self contained units we call apartments. All The rooms/apts are off a common stairway and share the same entrance, but the room/apt is your own private space that you do not need to share with anyone.
On the ground floor in the back of the house we have this funky little hideaway that can comfortably sleep 2 people.
It’s a cute little room with a mezzanine level on top with 2 single beds. The couch below is essentially a double mattress that also opens into a double bed if you are a couple that likes to cuddle.
You have access to the shared bathroom with shower, which is connected directly to your room so you don't have to go out into the hall.
The room has A/C and a fan, so the air is fresh despite not having any windows.
There is a computer in the room for you to use that is connected to the internet and a server full of movies and shows for you to watch.
Free Secure WiFi is also available throughout the building. Just ask us for the password when you arrive.
We also provide sheets and towels, so you just need to bring the soap :)
We live in the building, so we are usually around if you need any help and advice or just to hang out and chat with.

1. there are NO windows accept that one tinted black window that you cannot see through, but most probably can see you from the other side (at least it's the feeling that it's leaving). The light inside of the room is not very bright, so don't unpack the small stuff you could lose. 2. if you are not a dwarf, you will probably have trouble standing tall or stretching your body in the morning.. You see..the place is in fact a small room turned into two floor apartment..which is not said anywhere, nor shown on the pictures. 3. part two stands for the toilet as well. 4. toilet is not only yours, and it is not only shared, but seems to be shared with the entire house, so the sounds are extremely pleasant during the night for the person that sleeps downstairs. 5. did I mention NO windows? you never know whether the sun came up...and instead of sleeping, due to the lack of oxygen, you will be unconscious during the night time. 6. sounds are extremely loud from the other room, so pray that your neighbour is not watching "chainsaw massacre" 7. The whole place is woodden, and there is absolutely NO room for the stuff/suitcases...the only shelf in the place is made of glass and has useless decoration on it..prepare to walk over your stuff and hope that your roomates have high tolerance 8. there is ventilation system which is very loud, so during the night you can choose if you want to sleep in silence or without air 9. There’s a teddy bear for all of you in a need for a furry hug and a children’s tiger chair if you have a kid. Or a weird fetish. Whateva. 10. The host, on the other hand, is really ok and very pleasant, and I am sorry for this review, but it would't be that bad if we knew from the start what to expect. I was willing to pay more, or walk longer just so I could rest during my short stay, and in return I felt claustophobic. So, for the future refrence, describe this property the way it is..or don't, because I just did. I'm sure it will be a great crib for some people, so I won't give you thumbs down...me, I like my head a bit futher from the toilet. Thank you.
