We thoroughly enjoyed our Boston Apartment Rental experience with Kitty Franklin. She was very easy to work with and very upfront with everything. Originally we were told that this apartment could house 4 people, but when we arrived, it did not have a pull out sofa as promised. Kitty was easy to contact via phone and she immediately got in touch with the tendant of the apartment to get us a double air bed. Although disappointed, we appreciated that. -- The location is an awesome one, 2 minute walk to Boston Common! -- The only thing it lacked was having common kitchen items like coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, etc. I believe this would have added a special touch to the rental, especially for those not staying long and buying bulk is unnecessary! For the cost, you'd think these items would be available!

The place was fantastic - filled with everything I need from all the cooking utensils, wine openers, towels, sheets, and even a bar-b-que. It's in a great location for walking throughout Boston or just spending time in the Boston Commons. It was clean, well designed, and very comfortable. The management group was also quite responsive.

The apartment was brilliant. It was in a great location and it was in superb condition, both in terms of the maintenance of its furniture and equipment, and in its cleanliness. FEEDBACK NEGATIVE Obtaining access details to the apartment was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in my extensive travel experience. It caused me an enormous amount of stress and inconvenience. Several months in advance I had asked for the access details to be given to me 3 weeks in advance, rather than the 2 weeks that normally occurs. I received an email stating that this would happen. When I sought the details shortly before I left (that is 3 weeks before), I was told I would only be given the details 2 weeks in advance. No explanation was given for the change of mind. I was not able to resolve this before I left. After fruitless efforts to obtain internet access to the details from China, once I reached America I sought the details over the phone. I was told that this was not possible. It still then required several phone calls to obtain the details by internet at an alternative site. Also, the details were not sent out 2 weeks in advance to the original email address - had this occurred some of the later problems I had could have been avoided. In all my dealings in relation to this after the original email stating that I would be able to receive earlier access I was given the impression that I was dealing with an absolutely mindless bureaucrat enforcing purposeless rules (after all, given that the room access number can only be used from 3.00 p.m. on the first day of rental, what harm can there be in providing the number a week earlier than normal ?). I am actually amazed that such a person can still be in a service industry such as apartment letting. In terms of the equipment in the apartment, it would have been useful to have had a toaster, and to have had trays that could be used in the oven.
