Alessio is a wonderful host, considerate, attentive, consistently available, and always willing to share information. Since it was our first trip to Rome, it was very comforting to know that Alessio had our backs and did everything he could to ensure our time there was pleasant and without hassles. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is in a perfect location, away from the heavy tourist areas but a lovely (and safe) place to walk around. We walked to the coliseum from there, though every form of public transportation is available just down the block. Alessio made us feel like visiting cousins and we had a fabulous experience at Dolce Vita. If you go, be sure to walk around the block to Via Alessandria 18 and sample some fresh wine at Gusto Divino! The lovely couple who own it will truly make you feel at home.

Dolce Vita Suite is a very modern apartment situated in a perfect location to explore Rome. It is walking distance to Roma Termini or a 5 euro taxi ride. The apartment is close enough to the city to be convienient but still far enough away not to be stuck in the hustle and bustle 24/7. Great area, felt safe. There are markets at the end of the street every morning which makes it easy to access fresh fruit and vegetables, and also a small supermarket. Alessio is the perfect gentleman and definately went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect for our stay in Rome. Dolce Vita Suite = 5 / 5.

Staying at Dolce Vita Suite was an amazing experience! It was 'Dolce Vita' indeed! Its spacious, luxurious, relaxing, amazingly clean, full with absolutely every single facility you need, and all for a very reasonable price: free wifi, fancy bathroom amenities (towels, shampoo, cream, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer and hair straightener). The kitchen had everything we would possibly need (microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fancy cutlery, dish washer etc). The TV room! wow! Satellite, DVD movies, big LCD screen, a shelf with various books ( English-Italian dictionary, map, About Rome etc). And ofcourse, not to mention two fancy bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Neighbors are friendly, building is very safe (2 huge building doors before you enter you apartment, you get 3 keys when you first check in). The location is brilliant (Porta Pia). You will find many Italian restaurants and grocery stores and fruit markets and money exchange and many many others. Bus stop is a 2 min walk, in less than 10 minuets you are in the heart of rome! Last but not least, our landlord, Alessio, is an amazingly friendly man. If you appreciate professionalism and top communication skills, then Alessio is your man to help you settle in and answer any questions you have about Rome. He was very informative and quick when i corresponded with him by email through roomorama, when we arrived, he welcomed us in a very warm manner, and was very willing to help if we needed anything extra (although we never could possibly think of anything else we needed). Rome, Porta Pia, Doce Vita and Alessio should be anyones wise choice! Thanks a lot Alessio! :):)
